AptSpice is all about encouraging others to cook a healthy and delicious Indian meal at home!
In our courses we aim to teach the participants how to make delicious Indian food by using just the ‘Apt’ spices.
We focus on cooking food which has a restaurant level taste and yet keep it healthy by using minimum oil.
The courses are held in a relaxed and informal atmosphere where even beginners will feel safe to try cooking something totally new.
What happens in the course
On the day of your course, all you bring is your apron (and the payment of course!) and the rest will be provided by us.
If the classes are taking place at a location of your choice, then all you need to provide us is sufficient space to prepare and cook the food
Most of the preparation work like cutting, chopping of the ingredients will be done in advance so that we don’t loose time during the classes.
This will be a very hands on course. Every participant will get a chance to prepare the food.
The participants will be given helpful handouts which can serve as a ready reckoner for the various spices and tips on how to use them.
The participants will also be given the recipes of the dishes they cook so we encourage the participants to focus on the workshop and jot only key points/tips
The food cooked will normally be sufficient for all the participants to enjoy a well deserved meal. Any left overs can be taken home in the take away boxes provided!

Anyone having interest and enthusiasm to learn Indian cooking can attend the courses.
